HALLS OF RESIDENCE
- We will attend fortnightly or monthly meetings with your Head of Colleges & Village Managers to assess security personnel performance, Keeping up to date with industry best practice through research and training
- Maintain the same security personnel at all times.
- Escort night staff to their vehicles at the end of their shift.
- Ensure all security personnel obtain their COA. SPS Security are professional, friendly, motivated, and highly trained. Training includes:
- First Aid
- Communication Techniques
- Legal Obligations and Responsibilities
- Health and Safety
- OSH requirements
- Fire Warden Training
- We conduct regular training seminars to keep our staff up to date with any changes that have an impact on your industry. In addition to these seminars, we have constant evaluation and supervision for all employees, ensuring our high level of service is maintained at all times. - Assuring the security of the resident student population is a priority for the residential life staff. Security policies and procedures are outlined in printed regulations and discussed with residents in alcohol & crime prevention seminars organized by the Head of college and the Proctor. Should an emergency arise, SPS on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week?
- In addition, SPS conduct regular rounds both inside and outside of each residence hall during evening and night hours. SPS also patrols the grounds of the University hall of residents at night. At end of the shift a security report is email to the Head of college or Warden.
